They look great. Even Nokia users are switching to them. Thing is I have watched ppl before investing myself (heck they are 800 bucks to buy straight out) and have seen some bad stuff.

What happens is you dl all this cool stuff to your phone and you use the calendar etc and get reliant on it (and you are poaying for these extras too!) then it crashes and wipes everything and you have to start over. I have seen it happen every few months to most ppl that have them.

They look so cool though. Ppl just use it instead of a PC and biggest ripoff this week. I expect since "professionals" are using them that they will be sued soon. One would hope so anyway.

How did we ever exist when all we had was a phoneline and a black and white TV? Did we ever feel that there was something "missing" in our lives?

I carried around a small radio (before walkmans) and a book with all the "stuff" in it (calendar etc). All the kids around the place have iPhones now - no wondering where you kid is anymore - just ring em and ask.

Beware. Apple can detect if you are using non-approved third party software and totally shut your phone down. That's what I have read anyway.

Heh maybe thats whats happening? Apparently thats why you have to "jailbreak" it. Someone unjailbreaked my sisters phone. She is not happy.
